Each CREACOLOR card has two layers. A solid base in the color of your choice, and a raised accent layer 0.2 mm above the surface that carries the design. The two colors are yours to pick. Translucent and metallic finishes are available.
Cards are produced at the exact dimensions of a standard credit card (85.6 by 53.98 mm, with rounded corners) and a comfortable thickness in the hand. They are made of PLA, a plant based bioplastic that holds detail beautifully and breaks down naturally over time rather than persisting as waste.
The accent layer is where the personality lives. Text, a logo, decorative shapes, an outline tracing the edge of the card. Custom orifices through the card are possible too: a hole for a lanyard, a slot for a carabiner, a notch in the silhouette. Whatever you can describe, we can build.
To keep the design legible at this scale, plan on roughly 50 characters of text with a logo, or 75 without. Premium designs can extend this with careful layout work.
On the back of every card, the CREACOLOR mark and "Created in USA" are embossed without color, recessed into the surface so they read clearly when the card is flipped. A subtle, trusted signal of where the card came from and how it was made.
Process
Every new design starts with a $25 single card proof, mailed to you in the United States. We produce the design from your description and inputs, send you photos for visual approval, then print and mail one physical card. If your first production order of that design is more than 100 cards, the $25 comes off the invoice. Otherwise the $25 covers the proof itself.
If anything is off, we rework and reproof at no additional cost. Once the physical proof has your approval, we produce your order at the quantity you requested.
Every card we ship is inspected by hand before it goes in the envelope. If a card has a print artifact or a color inconsistency, it does not leave the studio.
